Determine symmetry of given function

I am browsing the internet, looking for functions to determine its symmetry (because of effect of symmetry on Fourier coefficients) and I have found this function, from khan academy video:



https://imgur.com/7oO5xj2 - unfortunately, I don't have enough reputation to post images.



and I am completely confused if this function is even, odd or neither and if it
has half-wave symmetry or not. What confuses me is, that function representation overlaps with Y-axis and I don't really know where it starts.



May someone help me with this, please?
