ffmpeg dynaudnorm with almost no effect
We have several hundred video files where the volume changes within the soundtrack.
I was trying a lot of different settings, but no loudnorm
or dynaudnorm
setting I use seems to give an acceptable result.
Here is one of the arguments I tried:
$ ffmpeg -i testin.mp3 -af "dynaudnorm=p=0.8:m=25:r=0.5" testout.mp3
Here is an example of one of the audio files I'm trying to normalize the audio in:
testin mp3
ffmpeg

That is because you use very short audio sequences, you need to change f and g options to very small values.

Hei Paul, THANKS for your reply! what would be a small value? I tried f=150 / 500 / 1000 / default and g=15 / default
