is it mandatory to have access to Internet when setting up Puppet 5.x Open source server on Ubuntu 16?
I am planning to upgrade puppet 3.8.7 to 5.3 on Ubuntu server.
is it mandatory to have access to Internet when setting up Puppet 5.x Open source server on Ubuntu 16?
i do have modules dependency from http://forge.puppetlabs.com & i also defined modules from github (for example https://github.com/hunner/puppet-hiera.git) in my puppetfile.
My Ubuntu 16.04 server is in internet restricted zone/vlan. wanted to know is there any way we can setup without internet access like downloading modules to local and transfer files to puppet server and configuring it.
