Data error when extracting 7z files [closed]

I'm having more and more data error when extracting/joining 7z files on Windows. I can often but not always work it around but I can't understand how is this possible.



I only use 7z portable version on all my Windows computers.



In my W7 Pro x64 computer, when extracting/joining few 1 GBytes files, I get the data error. The workaround is that now I share my W7 folder where 7z files are stored and I extract from my W10 Pro x64 computer. That is, 7z.exe is executed on w10 extracting files from network on w7 folder. This time the extraction succeeds.



Now, what is interesting is that I'm using exactly the SAME 7z.exe program to do this on both computers. As I said this is a portable version so I just copy the 7z program from one computer to the other and execute it.



I can't understand why the exact same program (7z.exe) can have different behavior on w7 and w10 unless it uses some libraries that are different between w7 and w10.



Please let me know if you can explain why I'm having these different results with the same executable and the same compressed files.



Also, I'd like to know why the extraction gets data error on W7 in the first place. The files should be OK otherwise W10 couldn't extract them successfully.
