vmware ubuntu cannot exec 'dev/serial/by-id/XXXXXX' (N310 Getting Started)
I use USB to connect my USRPN310 to my computer. I use vmware ubuntu18, but:
error message
ls dev/serial/by-id
usb-Digilent_Digilent_USB_Device_25163511FE00-if00-port0
usb-Digilent_Digilent_USB_Device_25163511FE00-if01-port0
usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2105_Dual_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_007F6CB5-if00-port0
usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2105_Dual_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_007F6CB5-if01-port0
i can get the list about my device
then:
sudo screen /dev/serial/by-id
/usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2105_Dual_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_007F6CB5-if00-port0 115200
it shows cannot exec dev/serial/by-id/XXXXXX
and messy code after this.
i think maybe my computer USB to serial problem.
How can i solve it?
ubuntu vmware

I improved the formatting of your post, but the part about the exec is unclear. Please add the exact command and error message.
