How to make SSH connection faster?

0

My main code to connect to a host:

for password in passwordlist:
ssh = paramiko.client.SSHClient()
ssh.set_missing_host_key_policy(paramiko.AutoAddPolicy())
ssh.connect(host, port=int(float(port)), username=user, password=password)
#rest of code when password is incorrect. when password is corret: break

I am trying different passwords to connect to a host. Only when my password is correct I am able to connect to the host. Now, for each password, the ssh.connect function takes about 2 seconds to execute. Since I have thousands of passwords, it would be take a lot of time to try out each password. How do I speed up this process? Thanks
