Disable the external email address on address field on IBM Notes 9

Is it possible to disable the external email not to show up on the address bar but only to show the internal address email. To make it easier to understand I have added the screenshot below. So, basically, the address showing there are the external contacts. I do not want them to show when I type in James as there are other James in my internal contacts which I want it to show up rather the James from external contact.
