Lenovo Z50 overheated under linux

0

My Lenovo Z50 overheated under Linux. I tried Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04 and Linux Mint 18.1. The standard installed Windows 8 doesn't have this problem. It heats up to 100°C and shuts down. I followed the temperature with psensor to see it. I think the fan is every time on the lowest level. I tried fancontrol but it can't find the fan. Can someone please help me?

  • Can you please check for processes with high cpu usage?

  • The cpu usage is very low. I tests the systems without installing any other programs.

  • Fans use very different hardware on different systems. Have you installed lm-sensors, and has it found your fans?
