I'm on a contract from July 2, 2018 to July 2, 2019. If I quit this short-term contract before it's up,do any of the terms in the contract still hold validity?

That really depends on what is written in your contract. We can't answer this question without reading your contract (and we wouldn't anyway, because legal advice is off-topic here.)

  • Ask a lawyer. It can differ by your contract terms, your location, reason for breaking contract, how much your client is willing to spend for pursuing contract terms. We can't answer this really.
