Bridge connection causes network requests failures

I've set up Linux guest machine on my Windows 10 host via Virtualbox.
Network seems to work fine when the guest network adapter is set to NAT
, but when I've switched to Bridged Adapter
, so the guest machine will be on the LAN network, the network issues starts to pop up and some requests hangs until they get reset by peer (e.g. docker pull *imagename*
).
More info that may help:
I can reproduce the same behavior in Proxmox (though I can't choose the network adapter there, so it's always set to bridge). They both use KVM as far as I know, so it might be related.
Also I have dd-wrt installed on my router.

Is your bridged connection a wireless connection?

@DanielB No, unfortunately.

That’s not unfortunate at all! Because generally, wireless connections cannot be bridged. VirtualBox tries to work around that, but who knows. // Does your host OS also experience connectivity issues while a bridged VM is running?

@DanielB No, runs as usual without problems.
