How to get outlook search indexing to work for office 365?

-1

Good day all.

I have office 365 subscription and whenever I want to search for emails in my inbox I get no results. I get frequent emails from a person and they don't appear when I search, but I can see them in my inbox.I have tried the following:

  • Checked to see if Outlook is marked for indexing.

  • Repaired the pst file.

  • Rebuild the Indexing for Outlook.

  • Did a quick repair and a online repair.

  • Deleted old sent items within Outlook.

  • Created a new account via Control Panel.

  • Recreated a pst and imported my old pst.

  • Created a new profile from Control Panel and used my data file in the new
    profile.

I dont know what else I can do to get my inbox indexing to work. Can anybody help me?

  • Firstly is this your primary mailbox or a shared mailbox?, do you have your outlook in cached exchanged mode (In outlook does it state "Connected to:Microsoft Exchange" or something like "Online with Microsoft Exchange"). When searching via outlook is it only this particular recipient you are unable to search for?
