Excel drop down with text values which on selection will display an icon set

0

I would like to have a column of cells each with a drop-down displaying the text values of "Yes" and "No". On selection of "Yes" a tick icon will appear only [not the accompanying "Yes" text] and on the selection of "No" a cross icon [again without the "No" text]. I've got this far below with the conditional formatting but am clueless on how I can associate these numeric values with the "Yes" and "No" text and render this via the Data Validation as a drop down list?
