List files created on a specific date on CentOS

0

The problem is, my disk monitoring shows a big multi gigabyte reduction in free space for system disk on one specific date.

I'd like to know how to list all files created in that date to try and track what and where are those fles on the disk.

I've tried:
find / -type f -mtime -28 -exec ls -lh {} ; | grep G

Didn't find it. Is this the correct way to search for this?

SO version: CentOS (2.6.32-573.el6.x86_64)
