How to delete a partition and reallocate space?

I decided to post this as a separate question however it is in continuation with my previous question on Partition Shrinking. This question is about Reallocating space.

I read that I can only have four partitions. I had partitions as below:

  • C: (OS - Windows 10)

  • D:

  • E: (System Reserved)

  • F:

I shrinked C: and created a new partition using Windows 10 Disk Management utility. This resulted in the loss of F: (without any notification).

Now the partitions are as below:

  • C: (OS - Windows 10)

  • L: (Newly created for Linux by shrinking C:)

  • E: (which was previously D:)

  • F: (System Reserved, which was previously E:)

  • -- (Unallocated 60 GB)

To recover the lost partition, shall I attempt to delete L: and reallocate it's space to C:? How to reallocate the last unallocate space and make it F: again? Can the data be retrieved?

Don't relocate. Just delete L: and run software that locates deleted partitions. I suggest Testdisk cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk
