In kubernetes, I cannot scale a deployment with non-cluster Filesystem as PV or StorageClass, right?

If I have a PV/StorageClass with XFS file system type, by scaling up the deployment to 2 will cause multiple containers trying to mount the same PV with a non-clustered file system, which will cause corruption.

Basically a deployment with XFS file system PV cannot be scaled without causing corruption to the file system.

And this is where Statfulset come in. Am I right?

Thanks
