What are the responsibilities of a branch supervisor? [on hold]

-4

Considering a job as kind of branch supervisor, I'd like to know if someone knows what a person hired as kind of an interface between a European company headquarters and an Asian branch (assembly plant only) typically does? The position is to do some extent technical, but not entirely.

The rough description is furthering the Asian branch, coordinate development, help implement/adhere to certain norms. The reason I am asking is that I'm preparing a presentation for a second round job interview where this is the agenda, presenting what such a person does and what challenges could arise.

Also, what would the job title be for such a position? I'm having a hard time figuring out a suitable English job title as English is not my first language, but the presentation will be.

I've come up with things like branch/site/location manager/supervisor/coordinator, any such combination. But it's not really a position where the candidate will be the superior of anybody or head of the assembly plant.

Any suggestions? Any helpful advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

This question seems very specific to your company. We cannot tell you what your company needs from this position. You should ask the question to the person who created the head count.

  • I am preparing for an interview where I'm supposed to present sth about the responsibilities of such a position, so asking the company doesn't make sense since they want me to explain it to them. I have knowledge about it but was hoping somebody had specific insight. My biggest problem is not knowing the English job title, which makes next to impossible to google it.The ad is in German, but the German job title does not yield any results either
