Cursor is not updating in time with keyboard in post field in Discourse

0

When editing a topic and using keyboard navigation the cursor is not updating in time with the keyboard shortcuts being used.

For example, if I put the cursor into the text area and then press ALT + Arrow keys repeatedly to move the cursor from word to word you would expect to see the cursor at the end of each word. But in Discourse the cursor is showing up at random times. Or it's not random. Meaning it's showing up at specific intervals. But if you are using keyboard shortcuts it's not clear where the cursor is.

Is there a preference that can be set in Discourse to make the cursor update on each keypress and not on interval.
