Command line to join .mp4 files with different frame width/height etc
I'd like to join multiple mp4 files into 1 file using VLC command line. (I'm using Windows 10, and VLC 3.0.4)
I have tried the following command:
"D:VLCvlc.exe" "1.mp4" "2.mp4" --sout "#gather:std{access=file,dst=output.mp4}" --sout-keep
However it seems that 1.mp4 and 2.mp4 must be of same 'frame width', 'frame height', 'frame rate' etc in order for it to work.
If the mp4 files are of different frame width/hight etc what VLC command should I use to join them?
If not possible, then do I need to convert them to the same frame width/height etc? Can I do it with VLC? Thanks!!
