Oracle sqldeveloper cannot connect with default role default connection

I'm using oracle 12.2.0.1.



I created new user using below code.



alter session set "_ORACLE_SCRIPT"=true;

create user test2 identified by test;

alter user test2 account unlock;

grant connect, resource to test2;

commit;


And try to connect with sqldeveloper




  • Connection name: test2

  • User name: test2

  • Password: test

  • Connection type: default

  • Role: default

  • Host name: localhost

  • port: 1521

  • SID: orcl


And when i press test button it says



ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied


So, i changed password several times. But it didn't work.



However, when i change Connection type to local/Bequeath and Role to SYSDBA in sqldeveloper, then it can connect. Why it happens and how to solve this problem?
