can't find mounted directory in /mnt?

Basically I have mounted /home/user/storage
directory of a remote system into my backbox linux /mnt
directory, but when I do ls
in /mnt
, I only see backup.7z.
Below is how I have mounted the directory:
mount -t nfs 192.168.0.29:/home/user/storage /mnt/ -o nolock
Note: nfs is using port 2049/tcp and rpcbind is using port 111/tcp
after that when I do cd /mnt
, and do ls
I see only backup.7z file.
so where is my mounted directory or is it something that I am doing wrong?
linux mount nfs

Welcome to Super User! Can you edit your question and include what you are expecting to see in the directory, if not backup.7z?
