Retaining Photo Ratings from Windows Live Photo Gallery on new Photos App

0

I'm running Windows 10. I'd like to use the 1-5 ratings of the photographs I made using Windows Live Photo Gallery -- which appear to be written into the file metadata as I can see these ratings in Windows Explorer file properties.

Since that application is now obsolete, I'd like to be able to use these ratings in the new Windows 10 photos app, but that app appears to ignore the old ratings, in favor of its new "Heart" on/off rating. I keep all my photos on my data drive, organized via a chronological hierarchy (Year/Month).

Is there a way to bridge the ratings between these two? If say, a star rating is applied at all, then a Heart is given?
