Can 120 Hz monitor reduce screen stutters, if it can, does MSI GE62VR-7RF compatible with 120Hz Full HD...
My laptop is MSI GE62VR-7RF with GTX 1060 GPU. When gaming, I usually keep the V-sync on at all times to reduce screen tearing, but because of game graphics keep advancing, my laptop now no longer able to keep 1080p Ultra at above 60 fps.
Below 45 fps the stutters get worse to the point I get really annoyed at it. Now I'm thinking, can 120 hz screen reduce screen stuttering ? ( In theory it should because 120 Hz screen offers twice as fine frame timing for V-sync than 60 Hz screen, but I don't know would it work that way in real world setup )
If 120 Hz can reduce screen stuttering at low fps. Does MSI GE62VR 7RF compatible with Full HD 120 Hz screen from MSI GE63VR? (( they both have similar 30 pins eDP video connector ) My laptop original screen is Full HD 60 Hz)
