GoDaddy CName Subdomain to Azure webapp directory

0

i would like to link a subdomain to a directory of an Azure Webapp, this is the structure:

blog.mywebsite.com -> mywebsite.azurewebsites.net/Home/Blog

this is the hosting side (on GoDaddy):

GoDaddy DNS Management

Type | Name | Value | TTL
A | @ | 189.xx.xxx.xxx | 1 Hour
CNAME | blog | mywebsite.azurewebsites.net | 1 Hour
CNAME | www | mywebsite.azurewebsites.net | 1 Hour
TXT | @ | mywebsite.azurewebsites.net | 1 Hour

so i added the custom domain in my Azure Webapp

HOSTNAMES ASSIGNED TO SITE
mywebsite.com

So all that works, now i would like to connect the blog.mywebsite.com to the directory in my azure to this mywebsite.azurewebsites.net/Home/Blog and i tried adding the Virtual applications and directories:

VIRTUAL PATH | PHYSICAL PATH | TYPE
/ | sitewwwroot | Application
/Blog | sitewwwrootHomeBlog | Application

but that does not seem to work, i also tried to add the actual URL in the physical path but that did not work as well. And adding the blog.mywebsite.com to the Custom domains did load the page but to the route.

How can i make this connection by using the user interface of Azure Portal (so no adding code to the webconfig etc.) and i don't want to add a forward in godaddy.
