Installed Visual Studio but now folders won't open

I recently installed Visual Studio but it seems to have replaced my file manager with itself. How do I fix?

  • Visual Studio doesn’t have a file manager, your screenshot doesn’t really help, explain what your question is not what your problem is. Can you clarify your question by editing it and providing more substantial information to describe your problem?

  • Well i know that but im assuming thats what windows thinks it is, its bolded for what i assume is using as a file manager. I wanting to have "File manager" as my default file explorer, I have no clue why it's trying to open up every folder i try to open with visual studio.

  • Have you looked at you filetype associations and default application settings?

  • Yeah I have looked at that, but the thing is files don't have any extentions or ".png" or ".jpg" behind them so i can't really edit them in the registry or applications
