Program Firefox-ESR to pass a custom value with all requests it makes [closed]

We're using a script to set up Firefox on a bunch of Debian-powered terminals for internal use. Is there a way to include some custom values (host machine serial number, GPS, etc.) with all requests Firefox makes? Preferably HTTP headers, so that we don't clutter query strings and/or POST data.

What I've tried:

  • Searched for header in about:config hoping there's a way to add a custom header

  • Had an idea to put the values inside the user agent, similar to this network.http.accept.default idea, I'm not sure if it's safe to mess with these parameters

  • Thought about pre-creating some cookie files after install, but unsure how reliable/permanent would that be

Using extensions or recompiling Firefox isn't an option. The ideal solution would be modifying existing files or creating new ones. Thank you!
