Wireless Mouse keeps randomly connecting and disconnecting after Windows 10 update [closed]

First of All I tried this solution and it didn't work:
Why is my USB mouse disconnecting and reconnecting randomly and often?
I already tried to reset my computer to no avail. I have looked all over the internet for a solution and NOTHING! It's extremely frustrating. Anyone have any other ideas? I can't revert to system restore because I don't have a restore point.

I assume You have wireless mouse which is connected to PC via USB receiver. Try to open Device Manager, in device list select Your mouse device. Right click -> open properties -> Power options tab -> deselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Now try to do it for mouse receiver device too. Next open Your Control Panel -> Power Options -> Select edit power plan -> go to advanced settings -> USB settings -> USB selective suspend -> set both plugged in and on battery to disabled -> click OK.

BTW, welcome to Super User. Unfortunately, the canned comments aren't always great descriptions of the problem. Apparently, mouse (and keyboard) randomly disconnecting is a common problem in Win10. Most of the threads are about USB mice, or wireless mice with a USB dongle. So a good starting assumption is that you have a common problem rather than something weird. The linked question has 8 solutions. Have you tried them all (that's an old question, so not every solution may still be relevant)? (cont'd)

The problem with your question isn't that the symptom is unclear. What is unclear is sufficient diagnostic information for people here to be able to help. Typically, a question like what you linked to is considered "canonical"; if an answer exists, that's where you're likely to find it. If none of the answers there solve your problem, people will need detailed information to figure out why not. What's different about your system? Have you ruled out the mouse or dongle being bad (try them on a different computer)? (cont'd)

Have you checked "dumb stuff" like the batteries in the mouse? If you have an old wired mouse sitting around, verify that it works. Basically, solving these kinds of issues is detective work and ruling things out. That's hard for us to do remotely within the constraints of the site's Q&A format.
