How to setup a dir-615 d-ink router as slave router with firmware 20.05
I have, for a while now, used this video as my guide to setting up d-link routers as slave routers for wi-fi aplification on my parents place (they have a remote bbq area that fails to get reception from the main router) and so far things have always worked fine.
Recently, my brother has changed the master router to a more modern TPLink one, the TL-WR941HP v2.0, (it has more range and stronger signal inside the house), and I am having trouble getting the D-615 to serve as a slave to the newer main. Obviously the video is recorded on an older version of the firmware, so many configurations are not in the same place or altogether missing.
Cables are already set up and ready to go. But I am at a loss as far as the configuration goes to allow this to happen.
Can I get some help?
here is desired setup:
TL-WR941HP v2.0 (master/inside)
|- D-615 T1 (slave/remote outside)
networking wireless-networking router wireless-router

What are the IP addresses for the two routers?

the master is set as standard (192.168.0.1), secondary I was setting as per the video I use as guide, where he sets it as 192.168.0.50

You have them plugged in lan port to lan port correct? Don't use the wan port, it introduces a firewall/Nat into the equation.
