Filter lookup list not displayed when form filter is applied
In MS Access 2010 I am using a split form form layout. I am using unbound controls to enable filtering the form and pre-setting them so that a small number of records are returned when the form is opened. The cunning plan is for users to use the Filter lookup lists to apply further filtering.
I discovered that when the form filter is applied the Filter lookup lists in in the grid part of the split form no longer display the distinct list of values in the columns. This destroys my cunning plan :(. If I remove the form filter i.e. toggle the filter off, the Filter lookup lists work as desired.
Does anyone know about this? Is there a workaround?
I'm using MS Access 2010 with linked tables to a SQL server 2016 Database. The
Record Source for the form is a linked table.
