How to create a printable document from a large set of numbered HTML files

I have just downloaded an e-book in HTML format. It consists of several hundred HTML pages, all numbered consecutively (in the filenames).
Every HTML file corresponds to one page in the book.
I would like to quickly convert this into a printable document. I am working on a Windows 10 machine and have access to Microsoft Office and a bunch of development tools.
I have tried Calibre, but this messed up the HTML formatting.
