Since Aug 2014 I have been the target of mobbing at work. Over the years I have documented incidents of harassment like snot wiped on an harassment at work document, dead flies put in coffee cup and other crazy stuff.

In June 2018 , I applied for a Lead Technician position which was withdrawn for no apparent reason. The main bully from 2014 who is now the chief technician, took me into a room and told me the position was no longer available BUT.......

He said he spoke to the main engineering manager and HR and explained how I was doing a good job.
Apparently they all agreed that I would be promoted from grade 7 to graexpPTSD April 2019 then to grade 10 in April 2020 if I met certain objectives in my performance review. I have a recording of this which apparently I can,t use to prove this was said.

March 2019 comes around, I,m only one of a handful of employees to get "Exceeds expectations (4 / 5).
Get called into a meeting room and told that " Sorry, no technician got promoted this year".

A week later as all info gets put out onto the shop floor instantly, I find out that another technician with much less experience than me (me - 5yr 2month) (him - 1yr 2month) gets the grade 8 promotion and get this confirmed by himself.

So I raised a grievence and HR suggested an initial hearing with my union rep.

This happened last Thursday and I read out the 2 statements from June 2018 and March 2019 and asked questions about why I didn,t get promoted despite being told I would if I meet certain objectives.

This is now under investigation and I suspect details from that meeting are out.

I need to know some things for my own sanity.

  1. What would be the consequences of releasing the recording. I.e. fine, prison etc.

  2. Is there any loopholes I can exploit? I have developed anxiety disorder and I,m showing signs of PTSD

What would be the consequences of releasing the recording. I.e. fine, prison etc. Matters of law ought to be discussed on the Law stackexchange.

NO. Matters of Law need to be discussed with a local, specialized LAWYER.

  • This would be highly illegal in many places, so you'd best consult a lawyer before you even suggest you have such a thing
