Turn off backlight on a laptop when connected to an external monitor but still have access to my laptop...

-1

Is there a way to turn off my laptop display backlight while still having access to my keyboard and mouse on Windows 10? I can set the screen very dim, but can I turn off the backlight completely on windows 10? I have a thinkpad laptop.

  • We can set the external display as the main display, and then the laptop's screen will not light up, then we set the screen mode to a non-screening mode. We can only turn off the screen, but we can't turn off the backlight.
