SAP NW RFC SDK support for Visual Studio 2017

0

I have a C++ generic application which is a separate project and a plugin dll which is a separate project.

The plugin dll project used to link with Sap NW RFC sdk dlls sapnwrfc.dll.

Till now, these two projects where built in Visual Studio 2010 with these options SAPwithUNICODE;SAPonNT; and the sapnwrfc.dll was linked at the runtime successfully by the plugin dll project. And the main application loads the plugin dll which in turn links to sapnwrfc.dll.

Now i have upgraded my project to visual studio 2017 and the main application and the plugin dll both are built in VS 2017.

Now at runtime the main application is not able to load the plugin dll as it is depending on the sapnwrfc.dll which is old build with older msbuild toolset.

SAP has not released a new version which supports to be linked in VS 2017 project applications.

Is there any alternative way here to make sapnwrfc.dll support the application runtime?
